COVID-19: HOSPITAL & BIRTH CENTER POLICY
We have created this page to keep y'all updated without bombarding you with emails
RETURN TO COVID-19 LANDING PAGE

ARE DOULAS CURRENTLY ALLOWED IN THE HOSPITAL?
The big question, can my Doula support me in the Hospital or Birth Center? YES!
ATX Doulas is consistently being allowed in hospitals and we are telling our clients to assume we can labor with you in the hospital. Our team will have identification and credentials if the hospital asks for them. If the doula is turned away from the hospital, this has not happened for months, she will continue your care Virtually.
*Some hospitals are enforcing COVID-19 testing upon check-in. If a client tests positive the Doula may choose to leave to prevent further exposure and potential spread
